Alcohol and Diving

For Pilot flying, FAA rules – 8 hours from bottle to throttle, however BLOOD ALCOHOL CONTENT must be less than 0.020 %.

 

For Driver in Singapore, Traffic Police Rules, BLOOD ALCOHOL CONTENT more than 0.035% will be charged.

“Drink drivers, on conviction, will be disqualified from driving for at least 12 months. These motorists will have to undergo the theory and practical tests in order to get their driving licences again. In addition, first-time offenders can be fined between $1,000 and $5,000, or jailed up to 6 months. Repeat offenders may be punished with a maximum fine of $30,000 and a mandatory jail term of up to three years. They may also be caned up to six strokes.”
